Looking for support?
You may be looking for supportive resources to connect with in and around your home community. There are lots of organizations, big and small, that support trans, Two-Spirit, and non-binary youth, their parents, families and caregivers.
To find support closest to you:
- Search online for a LGBTQ2S+ resource (such as a Pride Centre, 2SLGBTQIA+ organization, or 2SLGBTQIA+ health program) in your city or region. You may want to get support doing this from a trusted support person in your life.
- Visit your local community centres, libraries or other public organizations and ask them to help you connect with other community resources. Look for signs of a supportive public organization such as 2SLGBTQIA+ programming, Pride flags or signage.
- Speak with supportive people in your life such as friends, family, teachers, healthcare providers, counsellors and youth workers and ask them for help connecting with supports in your area.
